I think I have become addicted to quilting.

I just pulled this finished quilt out of the washer for the final fraying.  I started this in  August and worked on it on and off since then.  I cursed my 1970's Kenmore throughout the entire project and finally realized I was not threading it correctly.  I did not have a manual, so i didn't know!  Since I finally learned how to thread it, it sews beautifully.  It is lap blanket size.

that's very pretty!  I've never seen one with the curved edges like that.  did you follow any sort of tutorial/pattern or just make it up yourself?

Very beautiful quilt! What materials did you use... it looks very heavy, like a flannel or fleece.

This is very pretty. That is an unusual rag quilt design. The blue and green are great together also. Smiley

Thank you for all the nice comments.  I have always wanted to make a traditional cathedral window quilt, but I am not ready to commit to such a huge project so I did some searching and found this:

This is the pattern or idea I used.  I changed it to flannels and found these at Joanne's.  The batting is actually fleece because I thought it might be easier to use.
It is really heavy.        Smiley

I like it! Love the fabrics, especially the blue 'interior' colors. Looks really snuggly and just perfect for cuddling. Thanks for the link, too!

I'm looking to send my Step-Sister's Choice quilt to a new home.  If you're interested in swapping for fabric/scrapbooking supplies, send me a PM.
