I don't think it's weird at all.  I think it's rather fantastic and I would want one of my own, since I also need a shoe rack, except I would need a doll-apartment complex... or a suburban block, at least.

Oh I would so put some elves in there and make it a shoe factory or something... maybe some of those scary little xmas elf ornaments...or even just paint them on the walls
