I just completed a duck hunt cross stitch...It was completed on gray cloth to show a difference between the white stitching and the background (even though it doesnt show up very well in the pictures)

http://www.spritestitch.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/12/duckhunt01.png (high res version)

And I also provided charts and directions (for this as well as other duck hunt sprites) in this posting on my blog (its a video game cross stitch blog)...

I love how 8-bit games adapt so well to needlework! Who would of thought that when we were playing these games years (and years) ago that they would become immortalized in thread? Great job!

That's too cool. I'm sure this would bring back many memories for my brothers (it did for me, anyway).

I hate that dog. Smiley Such a cheeky pup. Love the X-stitch though! So much fun to see Nintendo stuff!

You're my hero! I'd seen your work before via Etsy's Lost Mitten's blog, and now I find you here on Craftster. Smiley You rock!

But we have flamethrowers. And what this indicates to me, it means that at some point, some person said to himself, "Gee, I sure would like to set those people on fire over there. But I'm way too far away to get the job done. If only I had something that would throw flame on them."

This is excellent; it remains one of my favourite NES games, along with Bubble Bobble and Super Mario.
