Do these tins stay closed well?  I want to make those magnetic spice racks they have for like 50 bucks at Target and some other places.  Also on that note where could I get ametal 'board'?

LOL!  I was immediately going to post about Lee Valley but I kept reading.  These are amazing tins. I have them in all the sizes. Great for beads and findings, and everything you can imagine to put in them . Great for traveling cuz they are see through and customs just looks and closes the box. Ans yes they seal extremely well , so I DO use them for spices.

I think the general consensus for metal 'boards' is flashing that you buy at Home Depot (or someplace similar).  I believe it comes both in smallish (maybe 1 foot square) squares and in huge sheets.  If you want to cut it you need tinsnips and protective gloves - and you should probably put something around the edge (electrical tape, or a picture frame)
your spice rack idea sounds cool!  Post a pic if you do it.

When you display pictures on craftster they must be on a website not your local computer.  That is why we can't see them.

Try using yahoo photos or some other free site to load the pictures on and then put that link on carftster.

I love 4 elements stuff... dunno why. Those are very cool. I love it when someone has the initiative to make something that would have been expensive to buy. Great job!  Smiley
