hehe, no Paua is a Molusc we have in New Zealand.  When you find a shel' they look a bit like this


But the inside looks all pretty like first the picture i showed you Smiley  And when they polish the outside it looks all purdy too Smiley

I had no idea what mokume meant, but I just looked it up on Wiki and i see what you mean!
