Hello, everyone!

Is anyone interested in knitting Blithe by Kim Hargreaves?  I ordered the kit from her site and am ready to start this week.  Since this looks like it could take a while, I thought some knitting company could be nice.

This pattern appears to only be available as a kit with yarn (or at least that's all I could find).  Here's the link:   http://www.kimhargreaves.co.uk/acatalog/BLITHE.html

Any takers???

Looks like no one wants to join my 1-person knitalong.  Oh well.

It took a month, but I finally finished the front of my blithe.  Here's a pic of it blocking to entice you to make your own:

I'm hoping this will be done before it gets too cold to wear.

oh, pretty! I love that reverse stocknit detail. It will look great under a jacket in the fall, too. What color is that?

The color is called "steel blue". It's sort of a dull/dusty medium blue.  Here's a link to the Rowan website that shows the color better: http://www.knitrowan.com/html/yarn_results_detail.asp?productcode=51284149&groupno=43

There are so many other lovely colors in this yarn that would look great for this pattern.  I especially like Aubergine (deep purpley/burgundy).
