I made these as gifts...the green one is for the little girl i nanny for...today is her birthday! she loves green and snow so voila! i strung wire wrapped fried marbles on the end of some of the points for a mobile effect. i think i may keep the blue one though! they are bigger than my cat!

These are gorgeous, I especially love the green polka dotted one.  There's lots of tutorials on how to make these if you google 3d paper snowflakes.  Here's one that I found.

We used to make these all the time to hang on the tree and around the house.  Much smaller of course.  Thanks for the reminder.  Your's are spectacular!  I'll definitely be making some soon!

i made one too. i didnt have any cool paper so i just used our craft paper.
