I think I have become addicted to quilting.

I am making an assortment of presents for my "soon to be a dad" brother.  I just finished this flannel patchwork quilt for him.  It is made of flannel 6" patches and a chenille like fabric backing.  It is a little wonky but I think it will be okay.  Another present completed!

and all bundled up, ready to go!

I really like your fabric choices and the layout.  It looks so cuddly.

That will be so snuggly, they won't even notice its wonky, trust me. My first son's most used and loved quilt was one that was not super perfect, but was super super soft and warm.

Thanks for all the kind comments. It really wasn't too difficult to make and the backing fabric is pretty forgiving.  I am super excited about giving it to him.

These are great fabric choices, I love it.  Is it heavy with the chenile?

I'm looking to send my Step-Sister's Choice quilt to a new home.  If you're interested in swapping for fabric/scrapbooking supplies, send me a PM.

Thanks everyone!  The quilt isn't  heavy at all--at least compared to rag quilts I have made.  It seems to be fake chenille?  It is located right next to the chenille at Joannes and is "soft and comfy?".  It has the same striping and look, but it is softer.
