I do plan on selling these ...

BUT!
Everytime I see a post and someone doesn't want to make up a tut because they are selling them I cringe a lil  . But knowing that if I want something bad enough I do my own or search harder for something simmilar to modify I can't not help out fellow craftsters, so when I have time I will make a tutorial and test it out on one fellow craftster and if its understandable Ill post it for everyone. Give me through the weekend though ... working and having a adventurous 2 year old tomboy only gives me nap times and bedtimes to craft.

I know, I'd feel the same if I was going to sell something but I'd really love a tutorial for this! This is by far the best wallet I've seen on here, it looks so professional

I found the fabric at a quilt store I recently discovered, they have fat quarters for 2-2.50 and its more than enough to make 2-3 of these babys!

Ive got the tutorial written up, but my camera died from my adorable lil sister taking pics of her "magazine" project for school, so I don't have pics to go along with it YET! (The night is still young!) But here is another one I did. This is for my boyfriends sister...



The stitching around the zipper is wonky on this one because I didn't realize the material was stretchy till it was too late, no turning back. But it worked!
I do NOT recommend using thicker fabrics, this is a thin faux leopard print and it was a pain in the arse!
I wont be doing any more like this unless there is extra  $$ flow in it for me!!

you are right on the selling the wallets - craftster has sadly become free advertising for etsy sellers a lot of the times.  But I don't think that the person buying something would want the tutorial - however there could be unscrupulous people who would also try and sell them even if you put a for personal use only on it, not for selling finished items... that might discourage some.  It's such a hard call... share or not share - I for one am happy that you are going to post a tutorial - and you are right, one would just look harder online for another wallet tutorial  there are several out there - but I do like your style a lot!  It is very sharp!

and might I add I love your nail polish color!  I keep saying I will take pics while I make my next project then I think dang. I need to do my nails  before I take any pictures.. .. then decide that I can't wait to make the item so the pictures would have to wait for the next project I do....
