New here (well sort of...Im what some may call a chronic lurker) and so I decided I might post a few of my recent projects. This is my sisters year 10 formal dress. It took me absolutely forever, but that was mainly due to my procrastination! No pattern, basically the skirt was just a piece of fabric which I cut a hole in the middle of, then put a waistband and zipper on. I got my sis to put it on, and cut the bottom until she was happy with it. The top was a wee bit harder, but many corset type tutorials later, and a lot of taking in this is what I came up with.





These photos were taken at the end of the night, and she was standing funny, so thats why the back looks funny. It was perfect at the start of the night
