What would you be in the dock for?

Mine, mainly not swatching, but also for tying knots in "places it won't matter", (insides of toys... the cushion I currently have on my lap...)

Knotting, no swatch, not fixing minor errors....yeah, I'd be a lifer.

you're meant to fix minor errors instead of hoping non-knitters won't notice them?  Roll Eyes

*adds that to the list*

Yep that is me too...

Shamelessly mixing dyelots on things where it won't be too noticeable (eg something with stripes),

Not bothering to wash/steam/dekink my yarn after I have unravelled it - I have been known to knit directly from whatever it is I am unravelling!

It takes me forever to finish a project... to me, if I'm done knitting, then it's done, don't bother me to weave in ends or block or seam it, for god's sake.  i made my son a hat a month ago, and a tail sticks out because i just haven't gotten around to weaving it in... and yeah, he wears it in public.

Ignoring pattern specifications...oh that hat's supossed to be knit with worsted on size 7's?  Let me do it with chunky on size 10's and just take out a pattern repeat.  This often leads to starting over multiple times, because, as afore mentioned, I don't swatch (shh!!)

you're not supposed to tie knots?  and you're supposed to un-kink yarn you're recycling?

I'm sure there are all kinds of rules I break on a regular basis and don't even know it.
