Hey  Smiley
I'm wondering if I'm just reading this wrong:

"increase 1 stitch at each end of 8th and following 6th row."
The thing is, there is no "number of rows" , so should I just assume I work 8 rows then start over to do another 8 rows, and increase again when I get to the 6th? Or is it just one set of 8 rows and I increase at the 6th then the 8th? I would think in that case the pattern would say "6th then 8th", not "8th then 6th".
I know its difficult to answer this without seeing the pattern, and with the One Hour Hat episode in mind, I'm trying to be extra careful about copywrite issues. Thanks for any help  Smiley

seems to me like you should increase once at the beginning and again at the end of the 8th row (count from the beginning, not counting your CO, to know when you're on the 8th row). then 6 rows later (the 14th row of the piece), increase at the beginning and end of that row too.

does that make sense for the overall pattern?

where are we going, and why am i in this handbasket?

Thats how I think I'm going to do it. Its just strange because before this part in the pattern I'm on row 29, then it starts taking about row 8. But, yeah, I think I'll do it like that, and if it starts to look strange, I'll rethink it. I've  googled the pattern to see about corrections and nothing showed up. Thanks Kabili  Smiley
