Hi fellow Columbia crafters! I've been wanting to learn how to knit for a while, and I've seen the ads for the knitting lessons at In The Loop, but never end up making it there! I'm a visual person and definitely need to see things being done up close to really get a feel for it.

Would anyone like to get together and teach me how to knit? In exchange, I can teach you how to crochet, or I can bake you delicious things or something! I'm a 22 year old student at USC, by the way and I'd love to meet any of you!

I'm nowhere near there, but knittinghelp.com has videos on about every stitch imaginable, and is a knitter's dream.

I'm no super knitter but I'd be willing to trade for some sewing lessons! (AFTER the holidays.) I live in Cola and go to USC. (I'm 26).

Ooo! I wanna learn too!  We need to find someone to teach us and we can start a knitting circle.  I have a few friends that want to learn too!  I do all sorts of crafts; embroidering, candy making, sewing(basic), painting, baking, so I'll trade as well.  I'm a 23 y/o in Cola.

Not a problem, I will pick some up/bring some. What days are good for people in January? I'm generally available on Sundays.

Sundays are good for me too. I have a lot of yarn, mostly Red Heart and Lion Brand, but no needles. I can bring some of my stash if you let me know what weight works best for knitting!

And I'm excited too! Yay for getting a head start on on New Year's resolution that I will make!
