Hey guys, sorry I didn't post earlier, but I've been sick so I've been kind of out of it...  Anyway I received awesome postcards from both Marylini and tiggeret86 this past week.  Here they are, shown together (tiggeret86's is on the right, and Marylini's is on the left):

Close ups can be found here.  I'm totally stoked about both these cards, because they're just what I was hoping for (namely postcards about something different than what I know, which is southwestern US Christian traditions)!  The postcard tiggeret86 sent represents Ded Moroz or Grandfather Frost, the Russian counterpart to our Santa Claus and the one Marylini sent is a menorah for Chanukah. Thanks so much guys, I really love these cards!

And just a note about the ones from me shown so far: those are the two cards I sent showing what I think of when I think about Christmas and the holidays.  Ristras (the big strings of chiles) and luminarias are standard southwestern decorations, and lots of businesses and homes use them to decorate this time of year (though they usually use plastic/electric luminarias long term and only put up the real ones for a night).
