Today I was lucky enough to receive this AWESOME fabric applique postcard from Tiggeret86!!!! i am so impressed! On the back is a cool folk tale from Russia.

(I don't know if you can see, but the satin background has sparkely snow on it!)

while coming up with an idea for the cards my memories of stories from childhood came into my head. so i made some russian themed ones...

im glad you liked it. Smiley sivka-burka was one of my favorite stories. the other were about hedgehogs that my dad made up.

tigger86--those fabric postcards are really awesome! i'd tuck them away with my most favorite Christmas ornaments and give them a place of high honor every year!

thank you Smiley

i had gotten a bunch of leather and fabric samples from freecycle like a year ago. i have been making so much with them. now if i could only think os how i can make some money from my new found love of leather... lol

i had a blast making the postcards. they took a bit longer than i thought... the edges came out a bit wonky one most of them and i had to used a different machine then i usually do since i was moving between two homes at the time.
