I made these for my swap partner's little girls, and since she received and I am so proud of how they turned out (taking into account I learnt to crochet a couple of months ago), I needed to show them off Tongue

I got the inspiration from this one by Ellen Bloom. which in fact seems to be the one and only crocheted camera on the web...

I made the pink/purple one first and failed to note down chains and dimensions, so the second one turned out quite a bit different Roll Eyes

they are stuffed with foamie scrap rectangles from the huge foam we use at work. they were so much fun to crochet!!

I call her Vera.

OMG! I LOVE them!  I may have to try and make some for my nephews who adore cameras!  Where did you say you got the pattern? Or did I miss that?

Looking for those rubberband bracelets for causes! PM me!

How cool are these?! My boys would die for something like this. Maybe then they'd leave my camera alone?  Tongue

Hello you could totally sell those! But you should make it so people can actually store their real digital camera inside. A way cool camera case!

ellen put a pic of the cameras on her blog! and talked about internet inspiration, which we use SO much here. I think it's always very important to give credit to those who feed our ideas Wink

and I'm glad you liked them! thank you all so much for your words! I know my swap partner's little girls liked them, that's what makes me the happiest Cheesy

Sassenach_Mel: I didn't use any pattern, just tried to do something similar as the camera in the link. if you know how to crochet I'm sure you can wind it up (I mean, I was able to, so everybody is too Tongue )

socalgirl: you should then try and make your own version!

thefabfive: I like the idea of the camera case, I might try that out for my own camera and see what I come up with

thank you all again!
