Just completed yesterday a new messenger (not really sure it can be called messenger) bag and a shoulder bag, tell me what you think...

blue bag has adjustable strap, two side pockets and a back zippered pocket

lining is an old t-shirt

flap has a "pocket" to hold jacket in sunny days, or newspaper in boring days Smiley
I like the final result except maybe I should have put some interfacing as it is a bit weak

and now the pink one (Eco-friendly!!!)
outer fabric is (was) a ethnic scarf
bag is interfaced and the black fabric is a strong cotton

Wow.

Two bags- two completely different looks.

I LOVE the jacket holder flap.  You should patent it!

Jacket forgetters and jacket\bag\keys\coffee jugglers the world over would thank you!

I love the pink bag!

And that jacket flap is a great idea--I hang my jackets over my purse all the time!

Nice work!
