Hey! Some more undergarments for you all! The mannequin is a bit small in the waist for both these, so it doesn't look as good on the stand as it does on a proper person.

The first is a corset that would be suitable for costuming around the 16th Century, but its pretty general, so it would work well for quite a few years after as well!







The second is a Victorian Bustle, which suits the 1880s. I was fairly happy with the finish on this, excepting the front piece, which is is fluting horribly. I think I might try to run a channel of boning down it to keep it flat.

ditto on the sitting question!  does it just bunch up around your lower back so you can't use the back of a chair or what?  OH and both exhibit excellent sewing abilities, very impressive!

Thank you!! You can actually sit in them. As you sit down, the half circles collapse to sit inside each other and the whole thing folds up.

These are both incredible! About how much time did it take to make each?

Theres about a days work in each.
