I'm making a LOT of decorations and gifts this Christmas so rather than making separate posts for everything I thought I'd just continue to update this thread as I finish projects. This is our first year (my boyfriend and I) living in a place of our own so we don't have any Christmas ornaments or decorations. Instead of buying them I decided to make everything myself as well as my gifts for friends and family, and to challenge myself (and because I'm a little bit crazy, let's face it) I'm trying to do it all in 12 days. There's lots more info and pictures on my blog.

Here's what I've made so far:

An advent calendar

Coffee table placemats, coasters and throw pillows

A tree skirt

12/5: Today I made a wreath. Styrofoam wreath form, batting, and holiday print scraps.

Good work! I like the way you've used classic-looking fabrics in cheerful new designs. I just love your tree skirt!

Thank you! I wanted the style of all my decorations to be stylish but timeless, so that I can one day pass them on to my own daughter.
