I made this with a small vintage jewelry box. It had a transparent lid with the gold decoration. I also used vintage plastic deer and made a spiral Christmas tree out of silver pipe cleaner. There's a snow scene in the back, a little batting for snow and a sprinkle of white glitter for effect. It was hard to get a good picture because of the glare. It's about 3 x 2 1/2 inches and so much fun to make!

Aww!  It's so sweet!  I want to climb inside that little quaint scene.  The spiral pipecleaner tree is genius!

This is beautiful. I've been browsing many places for ideas to make nice Christmas things to decorate my home. I saw a little diorama of a bath house in a wee antique shop in Galway last week and was wondering how to make a Christmasy one. This had made my day. So pretty. I'd like to make something similar this year, that is, if I get my "wreath" done. Cards are in the bag so... =P
