This was the most complicated stuffed animal I've ever made.  It had about a bazillion pieces with all the spikes.  It is going to be a present for a friend's little boy.

I don't know if I over stuffed it, or if it is part of the pattern, but the little dude ended up really bowlegged.

I'm debating if I should tack it down to the body or leave it as is.  Any suggestions?

would his back legs come off & go back on the other way round? he does look a little bow legged, but i think thats part of his charm, i think hes grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre at! must have taken a hell of a lot of patience to do all those scales/spikes

He is adorable just as he is.  I would gift him proudly to your friend's son.  I am sure he will love it.  I would!

I actually made a mistake and sewed one of the legs on the wrong side.  The leg was at a pretty unnatural angle, so I know I've got the legs on properly right now.  I'd be happy to share the pattern, but I got it from a book.   I checked it out from the Library; it's called "Sew a Dinosaur: by Michelle Lipson.  I hope to make some more dinos from that book in the future.  The directions were simple enough for even me, the directionally challenged, to follow.

This is wonderful!  I'm wondering if one of my grands will be into dinos soon.  It might be worth the price of the book!
