Hello everyone! I had a few questions about knitpicks colors pertaining to Ravenclaw scarves, and was wondering if anyone could help me.

OK, I'm making a PoA-style Ravenclaw scarf. I saw the color cards on hp_knitting, and I've read her recommendations. However, the post was made in 2005 so they don't make some of those colors anymore, and they also have some new colors.

My questions are: What color do you suggest I use in place of Fog? Also, the author of that post suggested Winter Night for the blue, but they've since added Arctic Pool Heather, does anyone prefer this over Winter Night? (It looks like Blue Ink would be perfect, but it won't be added until the 21st, and this is for a Xmas present. Sad)

Please please please help me! Thanks. Cheesy

I recently made a monkey out of KnitPicks Telemark [DK/sport yarn], colors cobalt and snow leopard, for my husband.  When I was done, the first thing I thought was, 'Man, I made a Ravenclaw monkey.'  So, if DK is an option, those two look great together.

As far as WotA goes, I'd use Winter Night and go with Ice Lake Heather or Dove Heather for the silver/gray color.  Making a Ravenclaw scarf has been on my list forever, but I just can't get around to it.  Good luck!

The movie colors are blue & silver.  It's totally acceptable among HP fans to go with the book or movie colors.
