Ah, is that title un-p.c. or subversively ironic? Anyway, here is another western shirt that I completed recently. This is one of my favorite things that I've made. I've had the idea to make a camoflauge western shirt for quite a while and it turned out well. The patches on the arms are vintage military patches that I bought from an Army/Navy store.

And here is my favorite feature of the shirt, the upside down "smile" pockets, a.k.a. "frown" pockets. I thought these would be tricky to make, and they were; however I love the look and it's a fun twist on the traditional smile pockets.

Sorry for my obsessive posting as of late, the positive feedback is medication for my seasonal affective disorder  Wink. Enjoy!

Thanks! Piping can be intimidating but once you figure out the basics it's pretty simple to do. As long as you have a zipper foot and a little patience, you can master piping. I'll have to post a piping tutorial soon.

Amazing as usual. I'm gonna need to try to make one of these soon...if I even have a zipper foot anymore. Those frown pockets make me smile!
