Now I'm at a lost.

First Cable Round: [CB, p1(2), k4, p1, k4, p1(2)] twice.
Work 9 rounds in Rib Pattern.

There are 13 stitches in it done twice ... is 26 stitches. But there are 21, 11, 12 stitches on the needles respectively.

What do I do?

I don't for the life of me understand. I p2, cable back, k4, p1 then work the stitches off my cable needle. Then I'm left with 18 stitches.

Are you repeating everything within the brackets [] twice? Basically to lay it out the row goes: Slip 4 stitches onto cable (hold in back), K4, P1, Knit 4 stitches from cable needle, P1 (2), K4, P1 (2), K4, P1. Then repeat this again within that same row. I'm not sure if that helps but sometimes I need to lay everything out in front of me to be able to see it. I hope that helps I'm never sure if the way I think helps other people Wink good luck. I'm knitting them too right now!
