Reality Bites, I have the teeth marks to prove it

At the request of others, I decided to enter this in the challenge. If I win, maybe I could get something other than yarn. If not, I will gladly donate it to someone who can use it. (I do not possess those skills yet). I am reposting this, since I do not know how to "move" a posting. Anyway ------------
Here is one of my latest completed projects. We came upon an old storage ottoman that had been in the family FOREVER. I was instructed not to throw it out, to keep it for sentimental reasons. But, I was NOT given any boundaries as far as what I could do with it. Therefor, BANG, my very own One Eyed Flying Purple People Eater. I skipped on the "One Horn" thing for now. Being a typical guy, I only had horn idea in my head and I don't think the rating on this site would approve. lol. I stripped everything down to the bare bones of the old ottoman. Covered it with thick batting, purple fur, and felt face and wings. The jiggle eyeball gives it that crazy look. I added 5 non-marring wheels to the bottom, so as to not scuff up my new wood floor. And the long pegs on the inside of the lid keep the lid from moving around when being used as seating. Now, lets see just how much trouble I get into from the family once they see it. Keep your fingers crossed. lol

Excellent! I love this, and what a great thing for toy storage in a child's room, too. Smiley

lol. Thanks. The "Family" is just ok with it. At least, the immediate family. The only bad thing is that YES, this would be great in a child's room, but I have no children. lol. At least none without 4 legs and a tail. Be sure to check out my other "creations".
