what a great package!

I like the stamp - that is so neat!

and I am really glad you showed pictures of the "hand cuffs" because when I read "hand cuffs" I thought "handcuffs" because hubby and I just watched that movie where the girl kidnapped a guy to be her boyfriend for Christmas and she handcuffed him with fuzzy red handcuffs to the car...

my mind just goes to strange places...

anyway - they are really awesome regardless of what they are called!  Roll Eyes

so many wonderful things! such a great start to our gallery!

What a nice package indeed! I love the stamp as well, and the tea cup candle. Beautiful work!

I recieved my package from Ronda on Monday.  Smiley  I'm a bit of a newbie practicioner, so she gave me kind of a pagan starter kit, including an altar kit, pendulum, smudging stuff, meditation rattle, and a chakra necklace.  She also made a notebook chock full of info about things like elements, stones, colors, chakras, cleansings and protections.  I've only had a chance to read through part of it, but it looks like there's lots of good stuff in there!  Ronda really went above and beyond the swap requirements, the notebook alone must have taken so much time to compile!  This is an awesome swap package.

First, here's a group shot:

And here is the altar cloth, with representations of the four elements embroidered onto a stormy fabric (the lightning is embellished too!):

Items representing the four directional elements, to put on my altar.  There's a pyramid made of unakite to symbolize earth, feathers for air, candles for fire, and a seahorse for water.  Ronda put so much thought into this package - she wrote a letter explaining the reasons she chose each item and what they symbolize.  All of it is so appropriate, probably even more than she realizes. ^_^

A pendulum made of quartz, which represents Spirit/Storm.  She even made a soft little bag to put it in:

A rattle, with animal charms representing the elements, and a chakra necklace made with stone beads:

And finally, a smudging kit, with three different smudges, an abalone shell, and a little book:

Thank you so much Ronda, you are the best swap partner!

I am so glad you got everything safe and sound! Believe it or not, I did know how appropriate it all is...

I am grinning so big right now because you are so happy with everything!

small housekeeping tidbit I forgot to tell you - the altar cloth is completely handsewn with embroidery thread which can be washed in the washer but must dry flat or the thread will shrink, feel free to iron it though

remember to reset everything to you!

hugs and enjoy it all!
