This is my Amanda hat. Smiley It's my own pattern and I call it the Amanda hat because I made it for my 16 year old sister with that name. I wrote down the pattern, so if anyone's interested, I can post it up. Smiley It's made with a 5mm hook & pale blue bernat softee baby yarn.

Before I added the bow:

After adding the bow:

---------
Amanda hat
H-hook (5mm)
Bernat softee baby yarn (pale blue)

Puff  = yarn over, pull up loop, yarn over, pull up loop, yarn over, pull through all loops on hook (5 loops)

Chain 4, slst in first st to form ring.
Rnd1: ch2 (counts as first dc), 9 dc in ring, slst to join (10dc)
Rnd2: ch2, dc in same st, 2dc in each stitch around, slst to join (20dc)
Rnd3: ch2, *2dc in next st, dc in next st, repeat from * around, join (30dc)
Rnd4: ch2, dc in next st, 2dc in next st, *dc in next 2st, 2dc in next st, repeat from * around, join (40dc)
Rnd5: ch2, dc in next 2st, 2dc in next st, *dc in next 3st, 2dc, repeat from *, join (50dc)
Rnd6: ch2, dc in next 3st, 2dc, *dc in next 4st, 2dc, repeat from *, join (60dc)
Rnd7: ch2, dc in next 4st, 2dc, *dc in next 5st, 2 dc, repeat from *, join (70dc)
Rnd8-9: ch2, dc in each st around, join
Rnd10: ch2, *puff in next st, dc in next st, repeat from *, join
Rnd11-14: ch2, dc in each st around, join
Rnd15: repeat rnd10
Rnd16-18: ch1, sc in next st & in each st around, join
Rnd19: *ch1, sc in next st & each around, join
Rnd20: ch1, sc in each st & each space, join
Rnd21-25: ch1, sc in next st & each around, join.
Finish off & weave in end.

For bow: weave yarn through rnd20, tie off in a bow.
