I am not understanding the whole felting concept.  What exactly is it, and how do you do it? Please help! thanks Huh

Have a look at the top of this part of the forum - there is a lovely thread all about felting.  But basically, you stick some natural fibre knits into the washer, and it comes out smaller, sturdier and just like felt.  It makes it warmer, so stuff like mittens are good felted, but as it is stronger, bags are good made felted too.  I warn you, you might get addicted to it... Wink

Thanks! I was completely confused on this whole concept! Thanks again! O, and another question, how do you wash the fabric? Just a normal cycle or what? thanks! Grin
