i am sorry for being a bad, rude swapper. i am sorry to all the partners i flaked on, and all the feelings i hurt. i feel really guilty, my life is messed up right now and i got greedy and selfish. i didnt think about anything but getting nice things. i am so sorry everyone. i'll be leaving now.

are you looking for painted wooden ones or cute plastic ones?

if you live in auckland, there is a $3 japanese shop on queen st that sells cute school kid bento boxes...(at $3 each which is fun, compact and it packs enough food for an adult who don't have a huge lunch)

if you're looking for the traditional bento boxes (which don't have very tight lids and will spill food in your bag) made out of wood that's high gloss finished (like those used in japanese cafes and so on) they are available at "jmart" on anzac ave in auckland central.

i realise this reply is late, but i hope its helpful Smiley

A couple years late, but I saw them for sale the other day in 'happy coins' in Dunedin. I'm pretty sure happy coins type stores are in every large-ish town around the country, and they all seem to sell the exact cheap Asian junk/treasures.
