Oh, Jayne hat, how I love thee. This is supposed to be Jayne Cobb's hat from the series Firefly. The pattern calls for wool or cotton, but I used Caron Simply Soft in Autumn red, mango, and lemonade (I know the colors aren't perfect, but I used what I had). This is a gift for a friend, and I'll try to get a picture of her wearing it. This was knitted on US #10.5 circulars. This was my first time picking up stitches and was the very first hat I ever started.  Smiley

Heather's pattern is here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?PHPSESSID=ca4acf296d85256101d314b368f6db36;topic=19076.20.

Darling, I can see the clouds around you
And in your heart I know a sorrow grows
But if you weep I'll be right here to hold you
'Til each tear you cry becomes a rose

I may not be perfect, but I'm so close it's almost eerie.
