Did you see the neat business card holder pattern from Blueprint Magazine?

Take a look at them here: http://www.marthastewart.com/portal/site/mslo/menuitem.3a0656639de62ad593598e10d373a0a0/?vgnextoid=d3a1b003cc9a5110VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&vgnextchannel=bd5e1eec2c7ee010VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD&rsc=collage_crafts_celebration-crafts_p8&lnc=bd5e1eec2c7ee010VgnVCM1000003d370a0aRCRD

I loved the idea, but as a firm believer in animal rights, I refuse to work with leather.

So... presenting the happy vegetarian's version:

I used cute patterned fabric and fusible interfacing and tiny snaps for my version. But if you want to make one too, the pattern and template are on Martha's Blueprint site listed above.

I made a bunch for Christmas. I'm going to make calling cards for my friends and family and tuck them inside. Very inexpensive too.

Yeh, I was surprised how quickly them went together.

I used small snaps instead of the fastener they talk about on the Blueprint directions.

These are a great idea, and you could adjust the size to suit many purposes. Thanks for sharing. Smiley

You're welcome.

And check this out: www.businesscardlan d.com. It's free printable business cards online (to go inside the case).

I made a bunch of calling cards (like business cards, but much less information to leave when you visit friends) using the online program. You can change the font, background and graphic colours to match the case you make as well.

What a great idea for also using the envelope as a gift card holder. Then they can reuse it for business/calling cards. Smiley
