hehe you should win a special prize for being photograped in the dress.. There terrible. But I think it was worth it for the end result, what a dress. What a swan.

I know you said you can't really come up with a pattern, but what stitch/stitches did you use?  It looks like a DC and chx1 or chx2 stitch.  Just wondering what you did.  And btw, great minds do think alike =)

i just used single crochet, plain and simple.  i used a massive hook (15mm i think) so that's why it's such an open weave.  i want to do a bag to match after seeing your project, but i ran out of ugly materal!
