That's terrific!  So much better looking than what you started with.

Wow! That is so cool! Your creativity is inspiring. The goddess dress is gorgeous. Um, will you be sharing the pattern with us lesser goddesses? please?

You rock.

You are going to create a rush on ugly moo-moo frocks!! You have incredible vision, talent and creativity!  What a lot of work you put into your creation--so worth it to have a unique dress--and a story to go with it!  Good job!

Wow!  I've never seen crochet hug curves like that.  This is awesome!

Eco-friendly items, patterns, hippies, and more.

I'm on Ravelry, too!

One question:

How long did that take you, especially cutting into strips?

One comment:

Plain and simple, you could go on Project Runway with that and win in an instant.

I love how you radically re imagined the materials while remaining in the same general framework (i.e. dress, because really a moomoo is a freeform house dress, no?) And congrats on finding three raw pieces that are each hideous in their own special way.

Two things:

1. That dress is so cool! What a neat idea!!!! I'm going to have to store that idea away in my brain and try something with it after Christmas.

2. You look an awful lot like my sister. Is your name Julie? I mean, I know you're not her, but DANG!!!! That freaked me out.  Shocked

3. I know I said 2 things, but I wanted to assure you that my sister is really pretty, so looking like her is a GOOD thing!

That is AWESOME! I love the way the skirt flares at the bottom. The colors just flash, too. Beautiful dress, that's for sure. I'm totally inspired!

ETA: Could you possibly share how you did the shaping? If I were to do this, I have loads of curves and I'd need to work with that.
