Ok, I have a questions about this hat.
I just started making it tonight, and so far, I am done with the ribbing.
I decided to get on here and check up on peoples ideas and such on the hat before i went any farther.
I noticed that the people who made it used 2x2 ribbing.
I did k1 p1 ribbing.

Opinion....which would look better? or does it really even matter?!

I'm done with this hat!

I knit it in the round on size 9 needles. I think I cast on something like 76 stitches.

PerfectLoneliness- I did a 2x2 ribbing, and I think it turned out good, but a 1x1 ribbing would work fine, if you ask me.

Ok, this is my hat!
I did K1 P1 ribbing, instead of the k2 p2, but I think it still came out pretty damn good.
I did the stop light emblem instead of the Team Zissou logo, mostly because I don't have anymore light blue felt.

I think it still came out good tho!

Anyone up for a Jasper Fforde swap?

I'm taking a class on film about the Amazon, and the other day we watched a movie by Jaque Cousteau.  I started giggling when the team came onscreen wearing the red hats and blue workshirts and jeans, but quickly stopped when I realized no one else knew what I was laughing at.  Wished some of you guys were there to appreciate it.

k here's mynew version of this hat i made for my bf

i used almost 2 skeins of ggh goa for this one and i knitted for an extra inch before i started to decrease.  i think i like this one better, but i dont get why my ribbing still looks so much smaller than everyone elses.
