I agree with everything above. I would be sososo happy if xstitch and embroidery were separate.

Along this line...would it be possible to have a completed projects for plastic canvas?

That's a great idea also! I have a special place in my heart for the scratchy plasticy stuff, since that was probably the first real craft I ever made with yarn.

Yes. I agree. Please separate. I don't know how many times I have clicked on a link only to be disappointed that it was cross-stitch and not embroidery.

Needlepoint is not embroidery, so I don't know why it was lumped in with it.  I think that the finished projects should be under separate categories ie: needlepoint, embroidery, cross stitch (counted or stamped) and plastic canvas.  The discussion part can be called needle arts, encompassing all of them.

i too have clicked on lots of projects, hoping they were embroidery...and they turned out to be cross stitch.

i'm sure the cross stitchers have probably done the same..

i'm just one more vote yes on proposition 29384, should the boards be seperated?

yes yes yes they should be separated. I can't tell you how much I would love being able to browse cross stitch/evenweave projects only.
