I would love to make a xmas present for my two dance teachers. One of them is a hiphopper, named Karly, the other is a tapper named Alesha. I want to do something really cool for both of them, but I have no idea?! Any suggestions?

you know the ipod commercials with the black sillouttes of the dancers in different styles?

perhaps something like that painted onto a tote bag for carrying dance things

I have many a dancer friend and I have made many a dancer gift.

But one of my favorites was a dancer ornament.

I bought a $2 mini porcelain dancer figurine.  I reworked its hair and made an outfit for it.
it was ballet inspired, she was the white swan that year so it was white with tiny touches of purple.

But you could do the same kind of thing for tap and hiphop

I have also made dance paintings, dance sweatshirts, and crocheted warm up shorts and whatnot.
