Allsorts Felt Garland

I made the felt advent garland  from the pattern over at Allsorts:



It's the first Christmas decorations we've put up.  Tomorrow we get out the advent candles.  This happens to be the only available place in my house for it where our children will still be able to open up the envelopes every day:



The pattern has paper dangles, but I had to make my own little embroidered felt circles to hang from the red buttons.  I also used various vintage and vintage style buttons for each pouch.

The pillows are from Ikea.  I think they recently discontinued them, but they have a more floral version right now.

This is amazing - i love it!
i already have loads of things planned for this year and im studying too so i prob wont have time this year to make one - but it looks like ive started planning next year's decorations already now!!
