I'd claim it was my magnetic personality, but really, that's just the steel.

I didn't get around to posting this just after Halloween, so here it is now.
I went as Miss Argentina from Beetlejuice.  (If you don't remember her, well, she was the receptionist in the afterlife... "If I knew then what I know now, I wouldn't have had my little accident!")

Here it is on the dress form.  I went freehand on the dress, and the cape has red floral wire for the shape.  It was attached to clips in my hair to keep it upright, so it looks a bit saggy here!

And in action:
With a friend wearing one of my old costumes.  Needless to say, a bit big on her.

At a club... I won a bar tab for it that night.  I like how when tall people lean on you it makes you stick your pelvis out all "hey check out this belly! woo!" style.

At work... I ran out of Ben Nye makeup after the first night, and had to get Mehron in a pinch.  Needless to say, the color was off, and it rubbed off on EVERYTHING.  My desk chair still has some green on it.

That's such a creative costume! I wished I'd dressed up this year.

Very clever, Grin If anyone decides to re-do this costume, you might try using Green panty hose on your hands with little tiny holes for your fingers and just paint the face and neck.
