Ornament "toppers" with beads and sequins ** (with tute)**

Hello crochet board!!  First time posting in here!!


These will be xmas presents.
Fast, cheap, pretty, cannot fail with these!!

Materials:


sz 7 steel crochet hook
sz 10 cotton thread
3 inch silk thread wrapped styrofoam ornaments
straight pins
sequins or beads of choice 
 
 Beginning block:  YO, insert hook, YO, pull loop through 2, repeat until 3 loops on hook, YO, pull through all 3 loops on hook.


Block:  YO, insert hook, YO, pull through 2, rep till 4 loops on hook, pull through all 4.


Rnd1:  Ch 8, join with sl st to form ring.  Beg Block in ring, ch 3, *Block, ch 3 rep* around, sl st to 1st block.  (8 blocks around)
Rnd2:  Sl st in ch-3 space, ch 8, *dc in ch-3 sp, ch 5, rep * around, sl st in 3rd chain of beginning ch-8. 
Rnd3:  Sl st to center of ch-5 sp, beg bl, *ch 7, Block, rep * around. Sl st to join.
Rnd4:  Ch 5, dc in same, ch 5, *Block in ch-7 sp, ch 5, (dc, ch 2, dc) in block, ch 5, rep *around, sl st to 3rd chain of first ch-5 to join.
Rnd5:  Sl st in ch-2 sp, ch 5, dc in same ch-2 space, *ch 2, sc in sp, ch 2, sc in sp, ch 2, (dc in ch-2 sp, ch 2, dc) rep * around.  Sl st in 3rd ch of beg ch-5.  Fasten off, tuck in tails.


Place topper on ball.
With straight pins, evenly pin the points of topper to the silk wrapped ball. 


Add sequins with straight pins to bottom.
