I claim Fashionable for ~~A tote or purse or wallet. I love handmade bags so I would like whatever you decide
List in a second
Second claim of two. None sent None received.
List in just a second
Hello there !!
Im Tammy. Im 35 and im a stay at home mom to three boys in NE OH. I like to sew, quilt. I am starting to get into embroidery and can crochet a little bit. Im very much into girly type stuff and love anything regency -titanic era. I also love 30s-40s things as well. I am allerigc to nickel.
Here are my wishes
First off any surprise off my wist list is great!!
Scarves (crochet or knitted) for christmas presents (of course im not asking one person to knit or crochet all of these at once. Feel free to pick a male or however many if your feeling ambitious!!) Boys scarfs im looking at around 6"X60" give or take depending on pattern used!!
Black for 7yo son
Gray for 9yo son
Black and Blue for 16yo son
Black hat and Scarf for Husband (would really really appreciate!!)
Big Wishes include:
**Beaded or crocheted/knitted Miser Bag example like this
http://www.onceuponapattern.com/59.html
or this one
http://www.somewhereintime.tv/antiques/miser.html
(im not asking for exact replicas of these. However it is ok if they are lol !!).
**Civil War Era Cape called a Mathilde Mantilla (Think of a Civil War era Poncho. This is basically what it is) Here is a link to the pattern
http://www.uvm.edu/%7Ehag/godey/images/s5902170.jpg
and here is an example of what it looks like
http://www.thegracefullady.com/civilwargowns/ready-mades_silkmantle.htm
Measurements will be provided. Wool blend or Corduroy would be great. Hood is decrotive and is not functional. It only uses around 3 yards. I would also prefer it lined for warmth. It would be great if I could retain the pattern as well for future projects. (I can sew I just cant figure out how to make it <frown>) without a predrafted pattern. OR If someone with any drafting skills wouldnt mind drafting a pattern to my size I could play around with it and make my own (If I have a pattern to work with)
Knitting and Crocheted Items
Knitted scarf in Black (I cant knit yet be envy those who can)
Crocheted Victorian Reticule like this one
http://www.knitheaven.com/vintagepatterns/23_LADYS_RETICULE_CROCHET.htm
Primitive Rageddy Ann doll (An example is in my wists)
Knitted sleeve cuffs
http://www.spunmag.com/article/050410cuffs
I love this shawl and am willing to wait longer if anyone will make it for me.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CivilWarShawlKAL/
Im not picky about color. Would be just happy to even have one.
A Nubia (Civil War Knitted Scarf). Red or Heather Gray would be lovely. Im not sure if the link will take you directly there.
http://www.raggedsoldier.com/
If it doesnt Click on Needlework Necessities and Novelties and go to knitting patterns.
Sewn Items
Handwarmers like the ones offered at Hot Topic. Victorian Goth ones would be perfect.
Tote bag (I really need one of these lol)
Crazy Quilted Purse
Victorian capelet. At least waist length please email for length.
Regency or Victorian era Reticule
Petticoat either knee or ankle length !! (Im 5'5 email for length)
Supplies that are always needed
Im always needing thread for sewing and this always stays on my list. The more the merrier and gently used is welcomed too !!
Any scrapbooking papers, supplies, rub-ons, embelishments, stickers ect!! Also card-stock papers as well.
Jewelry making wire. 16 or 18 gauge. Any and all colors!!
2 yard lengths of eyelet trims and any color is welcome !!
Patterned Ribbons is also welcomed too (again another one of my standbys lol)!!
Goth/punk/skulls inspired fabric that is at least .5 yards ( I use these in my home sewing business. I know ..... I thought she liked victorian and girly. It sells lol)
Unwanted Issues of Threads ( I have all of 2006 and 2007) and Burda World of Fashion Magazine !! (used is fine)
Gothic Lolita Bible Magazine (used is just fine)
Purse handles and supplies. Silver victorian clasps would be great too.
Anything Betty Boop is welcomed
I also adore Charlie Chaplin !!
Crafted Items
Bars of handmade soap (the kind that is made from lye). I have always wanted to try it!! Lavender, oatmeal, goats milk, citrus are great however any scents are welcome!! Or soap supplies as I would love to learn how to make my own. Premade bars are appreciated as I have young children and am concerned with having lye in the house. ~~Thanks Dulcinea!!
Ive always been curious about those soap bombs. My kids would probally love them !! Also jars of bath salts would be fantasic as well.
A beaded Victorian Choker would be lovely.
Collected Items
I collect cookbooks from the victorian and ewardian eras !! Or earlier if you can find them.
Godeys Ladies Book (In later years it was Godeys Ladies Magazine)!!! Ebay has them frequently just type in Godeys and they will come up. They were like the victorian Vogue Magazine of the day. Petersons Magazines are great too. You can usually get these pretty inexpensively and all years 1830-1890s are welcome !! I paid anywhere from $4-$9 for the few I have. Dont worry duplicates are fine.
Vintage Sewing Patterns!! 36 Bust is perfect.
Im especially trying to find a Jumper from 1948(?) Simplicity 2705.
Candles are great too. Prefer either fruit and or spice scented ones or lavender (only floral scented one I like)
A bag of Lindt Chocolates!! (the mixed variety bag!! I love these!!)
I would also like some candy if you are outside the US !!
Favs include (but are not limited to. We love new stuff too!!)
New Zealand - Minties (hubby LOVES them) pineapple lumps (kids LOVE them) and Wittakers Chocolates (We all love em lol)

I claim Mlsocci74 for a resin mold and some fun focal beads!
This is my first claim.
I am in South Carolina (US). No allergies.
Crafted wishes:
* a knit/reconned/etc. cardigan (jumper, jacket, whatever you call it!)
* library book tote bag I love
this shirt,
that'd be great on a library bag!
* an everyday bag. I adore
unbiased
at knitty!
*
paperback book cover
In a fun fabric, without the handles, please.
* handspun or hand-dyed yarn, any weight but prefer lighter over heavier
*
record notebook
* a new address book
* handmade notecards
* bookmarks or book thongs (please no knit/crocheted kind; the thickness of them doesn't work well for me)
* a cat bed, crinkle bag, or toys Anything for the fur babies!
DIY kits:
* DIY yarn dying kit
* DIY glass etching kit
* DIY rubberstamp kit
* DIY stenciling kit (mostly for tees or tote bags)
* Beginner's sewing kit I've got my first machine! I'd love to learn how to sew my own bags!
Craft supplies:
* jewelry-making supplies: findings/clasps, (novelty) beads, charms, chain, ring blanks
* card-making supplies
* stickers!
* inspire me to knit kit: I'm ever-so-slowly learning to knit. My biggest problem now is I want to pick up my crochet hook instead because it's familiar and I don't have to focus as much, lol.
* fun things to embed in resin (ex: beads, glitter, confetti, guitar picks, cupcake sprinkles/jimmies, candy, etc.!)
* rubberstamps, any!
* safety eyes for amigurumi
Other:
* candy and/or other local-only items--edible or not--from your country or area of the US
* hair dye, any fun colors you're not using, any brand!
And of course, anything inspired by
my wists!
My favorite colors are greens and blues, mostly jewel tones. I also like bright colors, but not pastels. I like silver rather than gold tone. I'm a huge geek. I horde yarn. I love dark chocolate. I don't like coconut or cherries. I'm married with five cats. And I've got a new swapping addiction!

-My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship ( America-England ), anything to help out with that. I have no ideas really but if you could think of something that'd be great.
NEW
-I'm not counting on this but it's oh so cool.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=210152.0
-Anything from my ever growing wists list.
http://www.wists.com/simplyfussfree
-Handmade brown bear for my mom for one of her Christmas gifts
-
Big wish
Something crafted of one of the following themes for my boyfriend ( ideas: a guitar strap, a shirt, a sweatband, he oddly wants a decorated lampshade, a small oil or acrylic painting or anything else really ). I told him someone ( Calluna ) crafted something for my sister and he got jealous. He lives in England so if you live there as well and want to claim this, you can send straight to him or to me. :
chemistry
ecology
Zelda
survival type stuff ( like in the wild or whatever )
Lord of the Rings ( not the film )
chess ( a handmade board of some sort? )
Lone Wolf adventure books
running
guitar
Super Mario
oud ( old Middle Eastern instrument )
-Crafted item on one of the follwing themes. I prefer realistic looking things to more kiddie-ish. Anything with corduroy is always good. Green and brown are always good too. Bags are always lovely, handmade books, shirts, small paintings made by you, are great. As are other things:
Russia
Nesting dolls ( more traditional than childish preferred )
Romania
Poland
A free Palestine
Ferns
The Forest
Trees
Hieronymus Bosch ( I can't spell for beans )
crochet:
-I would love, love, love a lined granny square purse like this:
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6902891
. Navy and white
sewing:
-I love this bag. I'd especially love it if I could choose out fabric and mail it to you or if k8kr8s wanted to make me another in the same fabric as the first because I love it so much.
http://henriettashandbags.com/black_forest_purse_pattern.html
Yay!
-A solid black wrap dress ( size 12 ). Or one in an apple fabric that I have and could send you. I have a wonderful dress from Alwaysinmyroom but am starting to wear dresses and skirts more and could always use more.
-A brown corderoy bag, preferrably fairly large as I carry loads of stuff most of the time
knitting:
-http://magknits.com/Sept06/patterns/snowflakesocks.htm
-black, navy, or white gloves.
-black, white, or navy mittens
http://vintagestitchorama.blogspot.com/2006/08/frankenmitts_19.html
i really, really want these.
-The eyelet skirt from Knitty on my Wists. I wanted to put it here as it wouldn't let me add any information. I'd like it in green, navy, or black. I'm a M/L or size 12.
-http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall02/PATTbroadstreet.html In black or white please. I can't tell if it has one but if not, if you add a little button to hold them back when I'm letting my fingers be all free and whatnot, I will be your bestest friend...or something.
-The last socks on this page:
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=135934.0
-A black cardigan ( slightly long ), I'm not counting on this one but it's a wish list so I thought I'd list it. Or an avacado-ey green one. I think there's one on my Wists.
-Lined Isabeau tote in navy or black
To anyone who chooses to craft for me, thanks loads in advance!
About me: My name is Jana, I'm 27 years old. I just got back from travelling around the Middle East for a bit and am now back in school ( studying anthropology ). I like greens <3 ( foresty/avacado-y ), and browns. I like corduroy and patchwork. I'm in love travelling and am obsessed with Romania, Russia, and Poland. I like forest themed things, Hansel and Gretal, things with trees on them, birds, ferns, bikes, and nesting dolls, Heronymus Bosch. My favorite bands are the Arcade Fire, Radiohead, Portishead, Pulp, Arctic Monkeys, and loads more. My boyfriend lives in England so I travel there a lot. I don't like: metallics, fun fur, yarn with a sheen ( like simplysoft ), when people clip their nails around me, and when people clap at the end of movies.

I claim simplyfussfree for a guitar themed shirt for her boyfriend (and as I'm in England will send it to him - wrapped nicely so he sees how great us craftsters are
)
This is my 5th claim this round (2 rec'd, 2 out) and I'm in the UK.
-For seamstresses
... I have a non-traditional wedding to attend in early March for which I need to make a dress (help; I've never worn dresses let alone made them, although I can sew!) I'm a US sz 6 (pear shaped similar to Kelly Clarkson) and want to wear green/teal. Anything to help me with this project would be so appreciated...
a pattern you've drafted yourself (on muslin would be brilliant), packet patterns, fabric etc.
-Movable scissor necklace
http://www.charcoaldesigns.com/necklacescissors2.jpg
.
-I'd love a shirt with a stencil of a NES controller (
http://tn1-1.pv.deviantart.com/150/fs7.deviantart.com/i/2005/207/3/c/Nes_Controler_Stencil_by_scorch87.jpg
) and the words 'Classically Trained' on it - have seen several variations of this design all over the net but never on a girly fit tee.
-A storage device/organizer to hang in my wardrobe. Any design you come up with that could make the most of my teeny space would be much appreciated and feel free to use up vintage/thrifted fabric.
-Cheap cotton maryjanes (US Womens sz9) for me to embroider on (like
http://www.goodgoth.com/rainbowmjs.jpg
)
-A knitting needle bracelet (
http://www.flickr.com/photos/lianakabel/293203903/in/pool-craft/
) wide enough to go over my large knuckles - I have such probs finding bangles!
-I'm collecting tape measures (this kind, any colours
http://www.threadandmore.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=3810
) Thrifted would be excellent; they're just for me to sew together
-Anything inspired by my wist:
www.wists.com/purplewist
.
-Anything - crafted, artwork (photography would be amazing!) or supplies - related to any of my fav creatures; seals, bears, snakes, bats, eels.
-Black/white freshwater pearls.
-Starter kit for making resin pendants
-Always need supplies...
generic sewing machine needles,
extra strong sewing thread,
1.5" (or wider) bias binding,
5 to 12 inch zippers in all colours
,
corduroy fabric in black or green.
-Relaxation things; an oil burner (lamp ring or freestanding type) and/or oil. I like soothing scents like rose.
-FQ+ of fabric with owls on (not too girly/childish but cute is ok )
Me..
I sew lots but also bake, make jewellery and crochet. Thrifted/vintage things are always welcome at my house!
My loves:
green, grey, neutrals, blue, brown, cable-knit, space saving/storage devices, retro-ness like old school Nintendo, hints of Victorian Gothicism like black flowers.
My hates:
Stuffies/amigurumi (I just don't have the room for them
), bright/neon colours, sequins, bling, shiny polyester, plastic, insects.
Thank you to whoever picks me!
