Ok, I took the advice and am trying the fabric paint..and took the reminder that color doesn't matter to heart, so I have the UGLIEST most fluorescent orange clearance paint in existence hehe. I got some black tshirts, silver fabric paint, and plastic beads for an unrelated project and got the Shocked look..no people, they are not all going onto the same project! ha.

That's a great idea to use fabric paint for the stencil!

These are so beautiful! I saw them when you first posted them...and have been collecting large glass jars from the recycle bin at work to try my hand at glass etching. Smiley Thank you for the tutorial!

I've been making stencils out of contact paper for etching glass, and getting frustrated with trying to get it to stick to curved surfaces. This is pure genius!

I'm so jealous! I want a lovely jar etched with a beautiful unicorn! How did you get such thin lines with the fabric paint? All the nozzle fabric paints I've used still seemed to leave thicker lines than that.
