How cute is that book?! I totally love how you put it together too. I'll jump on the bandwagon as well, and ask how you did the binding. Great job!

Hi Everyone!
Thank you so much for all the positive feedback!  I have to say, that even though it isn't as detailed as some of the others, I was still pretty happy with how the binding turned out!  I don't have much time to make a nice, comprehensive Tut, but with Christmas coming, I thought I'd at least scribble something down to help out others with the binding issue!  Here's what I scribbled...

I tried to keep all the felt pages in line, but they're not the right size in the pictures, just so I could try and illustrate what I did.  If there are any specific questions, (It was a pretty ghetto tut! lol!)  I would be happy to answer them!  I can't wait to see others pics.  Could you post a link here when you're done?  Merry Christmas everyone!

lol!  What's her name? Smiley

** Edit ** Charlotte!  Pretty name Smiley  But only a couple longer than Georgia!  And an "Amy" book would just be too short!

Nomij, your book looks fantastic!  I was thinking about making one for a friend's new baby but couldn't figure out how to make the binding look nice... thank you for posting this Smiley

And MonkeyThumb, Phaedre is an awesome name.  For the 'ae', all you gotta do is find a picture of something that starts with ae.  See, easy as pie!  Wink  Grin

Oh, and on the subject of length of names, my friend's baby's name is Susannah... this won't be a gift for the holidays!  Roll Eyes  Maybe her birthday (in 8+ months), haha.

lol!  Sure, easy Wink  I looked up some words that use it, and this is the best I could come up with:
Egypt -> gypt, Aegypt (Archaic) From the Latinised gyptus
That would be a nice pic on the side!  Pyramids, and the Egyptian characters!

So far, Susannah is in the lead for most letters  Cool  Do we have any challengers...

That is so cute! I'm in the process of doing this for my friends baby but her name is long so it will take a while...

Alexandria is her name LOL.

Thank you! I am thinking about doing the idea of doing the letter and the picture on the same page and that way it's less pages.
