I am now OBSESSED with knitting gloves! I started with mittens, and then progressed to a very lumpy looking holey glove, and now dpns are my best friends! (hahah i am really obsessed)  These are my mom's christmas present (her hands are exactly the same size as mine - so convenient) It was relatively quick to knit, so I proceeded to knit a pair for my dad.  Now time to knit a pair for my brother...

ah don't be put off by gloves! they are much easier than they look! I just made up the pattern as I went along.  The construction is like this: tube for the wrist, then  make increases along where you want to thumb to be, knit a smaller tube for the thumb with decreases at the tip, finish knitting the palm as a tube, then divide up the remaining stitches for the four finger tubes.  It does involve a bit of annoying picking up stitches and putting stitches on stitch holders, but it's really not bad at all. I hope this makes gloves sound un-intimidating; they are really satisfying to knit since they're so fast. I love knitting gloves!

These are really beautiful! I would like to knit gloves as well! What size needles did you use?

These look great. I've only made mittens so far. This sounds easy enough, but don't you have gaps between the fingers? Do you divide evenly for each finger hole? What size needles do you use?

Lovely! I personally love DPNs. I would rather use them than circulars any day of the week!
