I was going to wait and take some nice pictures of the sets, but I don't get home before the sun sets and the lighting sucks in the home.  I made these toys and blankets for my twin nieces that are due in December or January.  They're girls, but parents wanted a little more gender-neutral colors.  The animals were fun to knit but I really like the elephant more... after I add eyes.  The dino has a funny head... but I made it to tie in with the color combo I used for the pinwheel blanket.  I used Lion Cotton-Ease for everything.

Elephant is from: http://susanbanderson.blogspot.com/
Dino from: Knitted Toys by Zoe Mellor

Those are adorable and beautiful.    I especially like the dinosaur, it looks so soft and perfect for a little baby.

I agree with Buns. I have bookmarked this in hopes that my Christmas knitting will be finished one day and I can return leisurely.

Well done!

Thanks for the link to the elephant pattern! So cute!
My first attempts at itty bitty knit things didn't go too well, but I am still obsessed with the idea of knitting toys.

That dino is so cute! I bet it could also be used as a pillow.
And great job on the blankets, I love the first one. That must have taken a lot of patience.

Life isn't complete 'til you crochet a uterus for a friend.  Just make sure your fallopian tubes point down and not up! No one needs to lose an eye this way! Wink

That elephant is so cute, you inspired me to make my first toy!  How did you do the ears?  They're different from the ones in the pattern (right?) and I like yours better.  Grin

oops, I forgot to mention that-- I used the ear instructions from Last Minute Knitted Gifts' Elephant Pattern because I don't know how to crochet.
