I think these are going to my brother as part of his Christmas present.

I made my parents a set out of wine corks, so it would be fun to see the 3 of them open those gifts at the same time.

Possibly stupid question, but I'm not running out to walmart at 2am to check (only b/c my cat is asleep in my lap, otherwise I would!!), but do they sell plain legos like that at a place like Wally World?  I know they sell the 'build it kits' and stuff...but just plain squares/rectangles?

So cute <3 I might try this, did you glue them together??
But if I make them, we'd probably never use them, we don't use coasters actually, but maby I can use them as ... frisbees?  Undecided Tongue
I'll think of something...
Or I'll make a box of it!  Shocked Like Loveandsandwich's idea  Grin

Very cute!

Thanks for all the sweeties everyone! =)

About plain legos, I'm pretty sure they're hard to find without coming in a kit to make something large, or without buying a whole tub.  Tongue

Did you hot glue gun the sides to each other to keep them together? I love this idea! You're very clever.

There is a Lego store in a mall near me which has a wall of buckets. You can pick and choose which pieces and colors you want! *drool* If there isn't anything like that near you, you could check ebay or yard sales for some. Although I don't know how many yard sales there will be this time of year  Undecided

I'd just like to say that I love these to pieces. I contemplated doing the perler bead Nintendo coasters for my brother, but this seems like a much easier, yet still wicked cool, alternative.
