I've lost count of how many times I've read this series...
I don't have a favorite - I love so many of them - Lord John is definitely up there - have you read any of the books about him?
#7 is due out next december - an echo in the bone I believe...

Power is strength and the ability to see yourself through your own eyes and not through the eyes of another. It is being able to place a circle of power at your own feet and not take power from someone else's circle.

I haven't read any of the Lord John books yet, but I want to. I will when I finish this series completely. I've only read the first three Outlander books. Each a couple of times. Now I have the 4th and am reading the first three as a refresher and then I will continue on. Smiley  I love Jamie (of course) and Fergus. From the first book I like Gellis Duncan.

Just a suggestion - you might want to wait until after you've read the Outlander series to read the Lord John books - she draws on what she's written about him in the series.

I like Jamie and Ian. Don't like Breanna and Duncan Innes much. I haven't heard of anyone liking Geilie! She is a toughie though, isn't she? I haven't read Lord John but someday I will. When I read the sar donati books there was a mention of Claire in the book where donati's Chracters meet Claire. I thought that was pretty nifty!
