Love him!  If I can figure this one out, my husband is so getting one in his stocking.

I have a lot of stuff on my to do list this winter but I'll get started on making the Yoda pattern tomorrow.
I'll post it as soon as possible.

EDIT 12/22/07 - Sorry about the delay in making up this pattern. I've had some stuff come up.
I will get around to it, just not as soon as I had hoped.

I am so in love with your Yoda doll.  Could you post a pattern? Please?

Sometimes it's knit and sometimes it's crochet.

Thanks for all the replies :]

To everyone that asked for a pattern I promise I will do my best to get that to you as soon as possible.
I pretty much made up my Yoda as I went along.
A trial and error kind of thing.
I no longer have this Yoda because I gave him to a good friend so what I'll have to do is try to remember what I did.

Right now I have one other crochet project that I really have to finish up (a gift 3 months in the making, it's driving me nuts not being done yet)
Thankfully it is almost done so as soon as I get a handle on that I will finish making my second Yoda.

Sorry it's taking longer than I thought

I am a terrible procrastinator
 Tongue
The never ending gift (which happens to be a 5 1/2 foot by 5 1/2 blanket) is still not done yet but I've started on making another Yoda anyway.
This time I am writing everything down as I go along.

Your Yoda is really awesome. My brother collects Star Wars stuff, so I may just have to borrow this amazing idea and fashion a yoda for him- perhaps converted to a tp cover.... - how kitschy is that!)

Way cool, my girlfriend made some Owls for my cousins who are huge HP fans, now if I could get her to do me a yoda.....
