so. I finished up the 25 pound bag of sticky rice and it had this great logo of a fish on it. I thought I'd turn it into a little handbag. The sack was made of a weird plastic burlap. My cats come into the room to help me. half an hour later, alot of tug of war later. messing up the lining. and a few more rounds of tug o war with the cats.... I have no hand bag. In fact there's not really any of the plastic burlap fabric stuff left. It's now in fine unravelled shreds all over the diningroom floor and the cats are locked up in the bedroom while I take a break, drink a cup of coffee and laugh before I go pick it up so I don't have to try and explain to my boss tomorrow how my cats got an intestinal blockage from eating meters and meters of plastic strips and can he please schedule in a quick surgery if he wouldn't mind.

my cat decides that she needs to lay on my lap while i'm sewing...she then likes to play with whatever i'm sewing...some day her little paws are gonna get sewn into something. ahh and whenever i paint anything...she likes to walk all over it.

cats can be annoying Sad
but i love them.

So funny. It's great working at a vet clinic though right? My boss gives us 50% off, saved my rear this week as my dog got an ear hematoma. Thank God for employee discounts!

I just a kitten which loves batting its paws at anything moving. Anything. My sewing machine needle going up and down is one of these things. It has even figured out that sitting on the pedal makes the needle go faster although it cant get to the needle quick enough to bat at it.

not really about cats, but

we used to have a pet chameleon that we let run loose around the house, one day when my mom had poured liquid glass into a tray he snuck in the room. As the liquid glass was drying he slowly walked over the surface and became stuck in the hardening glass. I was reminded of this because every tray my mom has made has cat hair mixed into the liquid glass

Luckily she didn't unravel the scarf, only the skein. I had to ball up the rest of it, which was an adventure.

Ah... the power of yarn and crafts over cats. See, you aren't paying one hundred percent attention to them... so it is your fault! :p Silly creatures but you have to love them.
