I Loves the Trolls!

I wanted to make a waistband for the circle skirt I'm making (for my sister for Christmas), and I thought harmlessly enough, I'd just use the excess from the bottom of the skirt, and double it over to make it look good... and when it first twisted, I thought, just a funky twisted waistband, pretty awesome. Then, it twisted more and more, and it became this monster. That I love. (excuse the slacks etc - I'm really lazy when I get home.)

I have to make one for myself now, it's so adaptable! I'm still tossing up as to whether to leave it as a scarf for my sister, or use it as a crazy waistband - what are your thoughts? The skirt comes to just above knee height, so I wasn't sure if an oversize belt was in order. And, my older sister is quite serious too. So, nothing too crazy or fancy. But, she does love scarfs...

That is a fabulous scarf!  I say leave it as a scarf.

I vote scaft as well- a lumpy waistband, no matter how soft the fabric, gets uncomforatble fast.
