Yay I am first.

I received an awesome package from faemystique, it was her first swap and boy has she excelled! She made me a fabulous fabulous shrug. I adore it not only is it very well made (invented out of her own sweet head) but also had a clever design to ensure that the fit is adjustable so it fits me perfectly. She also added some alaskan themed goodies, some candy, fridge magnets and a fridge note pad. I love everything and feel very spoilt.

lots of pix, Now it drives me nuts when people apologise for the state of themselves, their room, the mirror, the planet whatever, in their pix, but in this case the pictures really dont do justice to faemystiques work, blame the camera work of my 12 year old!

the truly fabulous shrug

the very clever lacing at the back which allows the size to be adjustable (the ribbons at the front do the same for the armholes (see I said she was clever)

detail of the sleeve and edging

I love everything about this, the shape, the sleeves, the colour the ribbons. My 12 year old daughter really wants it, not a chance!

And some other goodies that were in the box

chocolates are v.nice!

Thank you so much fae

I ll do my best to write a pattern... I should've done that before sending huh?
lol

I've never written a pattern in my life and I have made things a lot just by winging it... I have never done the math related to how to do something, I just rip it and redo till its right...LOL.

So SO SO glad you like it!

It really compliments her complexion and hair color I think, glad it was the "right" color orange!  I had that yarn sitting around for two years...I kid you not... must have been waiting for this swap eh? Cheesy

My turn! I recieved my package from RhondaS yesterday, and I love everything!
I don't photograph jewelry well, which is unfortunate, because these pieces are really lovely!

amazing amethyst necklace, but the best part is the clasp:

I love organic shapes, especially trees and leaves, so this is perfect for my! just my taste!!!

This is awesome, because the hemitite beads are magnetic, so when i don't feel like wearing it as a bracelet, it can be worn as a necklace or anklet! very awesome. i'm currently enjoying it as a bracelet.

amethyst and garnet drop earrings! so pretty and simple, i love them.

awesome cluster earrings! these are amazing, i wish a picture could do them justice! they are a little heavy, so i might take off a few strands and make a second pair of earrings out of them, i'm not sure. i don't want to ruin them! i'm going to leave them as is for a while and see if i can't train my ears to hold them up. Smiley
i love everything! i'm so spoiled!!!
AND, she also sent a crochet scarf!!

it matches my coat perfectly, and looks great for this time of year!
thank you so much!
Rhonda, if you have any better photos, feel free to post them! mine aren't so great. Smiley Thank you again!!!!
